Gift Ideas for a Two Year Old Girl-peppa pig

It's hard to believe my girl is turning two tomorrow. She's talking nonstop in almost full sentences (her favorite is probably "no mommy not yours, Livi's") and copying every single thing we say and do. Today I'm sharing some gift ideas that would be perfect for any two year old girl!

1. Liv absolutely loves to run around trying to push the stroller. Has a really hard push around our favorite Skoot, and when we use our most lightweight umbrella stroller is so light (and tall for her), she usually almost tips over itself trying to push him! I can not wait to see you use this adorable stroller for dolls / Dogs / Mickie and Minnie - I already know who will be pushing everywhere!

2. Liv birthday comes at a perfect time in which we can only take a lot of new fall and winter clothes for her - absolutely nothing compared to last year it will fit! An adorable coat for the fall as this is ideal for colder temps!

3. A plush exotic. Sure Liv loves his dogs and teddy bears, but I want to have the kind of guy goes around with his laziness. A two year old who knows what a sloth is my kind of two years. This is incredible. So good. I can already see her walking around the neighborhood sloth pushing doll in the stroller.

4. In girls child culture Hispanics get their ears pierced almost immediately after birth (many hospitals do, before going home), and if not certain to 3 months. I was not a fan of it despite insisting of my mother, but Liv has actually started to get really interested in and want to wear earrings herself mom. So 2 (beyond the normal age Hispanic but I am sure that long before the typical American age) we went ahead and got pierced ears Liv (and she has continued to go around showing off her new " eawings "). And 'obviously a choice that is specific to the family, but if you are thinking that I would strongly recommend real gold studs; we went ahead and we got Liv a small set of 10K diamond studs (on sale for $ 100)!

5. bag suitable for their age. I'm not a fan of doing my Liv trying to grow up too soon, but she is obsessed with bags, and always brings my lap. Research grants, most of them are too "grown up" in search, or sparkling and plastered with pictures of Elsa or some other Disney character. This bag is the perfect in between - bright and playful, but still adorable.

6. The so-cute-but-what-are-you-thinking-when-you-decided-on-the-price gift. Flowing clothes that immediately caught my attention, it's just so precious! But then I saw the price - people actually buy this expensive stuff for children 2 years!?! I would not even spend that much on a dress for me even if I could convince myself that I was wearing for years! I entered because it was nice for the collage lol!

My favorite thing ever to 7. So, Liv to do is jump in puddles. I'd almost say he loves rainy days more than sunny ones. We walk around the neighborhood in our rain coats and jump in puddles - initially his snow boots, but now in an old pair of sneakers dirty shirt. But I can not wait to see her in these boots Hunter baby size, she is going to absolutely love them. She'll think she's Peppa Pig.

8. E 'was more difficult than I expected initially to teach Liv Spanish. I try to talk at home when I remember, but no one else in the house speaks Spanish, so she does not hear much conversation. We watch Saturday morning cartoons in Spanish and Pocoyo in Spanish on YouTube, but now following the books much better it is time to get more bilingual board books like this.

9. We just started his potty training, and a toy like this doll potty would be perfect to get her used to the idea of what it's all go potty. Besides, I'm all for supporting the brands that make dolls in all skin tones! His other favorite is for you have had for about a year is its star child that comes in a gorgeous skin color beige.

What kind of gifts do you think are perfect for a 2 year old girl? I'd like to hear your favorites!

Pregnancy Skincare and Makeup very

I was getting a lot of questions lately about my pregnancy skincare and makeup routine so I thought I'd share what I used! I'll start by saying that for the photographs, good lighting and a filter helps always hahaha, my skin does not look that good all the time (especially after a long shift haha)! But I found a routine that works very well for me and may work for some of you too! In this post, click on the images for links product click the link text - and read the reviews! Nearly all the products that I choose for myself I do based on the reviews as they are all supported by tons of happy faces!

Skincare: My skincare routine has not changed much since pre-pregnancy. The largest no-no when it comes to products for the care of the skin during pregnancy are retinoids, which may be teratogenic. Alpha-hydroxy acids (available in chemical peels, but also tons of over-the-counter as well) that include glycolic and lactic acid, can be teratogenic during pregnancy, so many doctors warn against their use as well. Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid, and some super-cautious doctors tell you to stay away from it, but I use it in my face flushed and find who did a great job of keeping my acne at bay. The amount of systemic absorption of any topical product is pretty minimal, even more when it comes to something like a face wash (can you imagine that a cream applied three times a day would probably have more absorption). So I keep away from lotions, peels, etc. that have one of these ingredients. Ok, now that that's out of the way, so use this face wash by Neutrogena and they love it. I use only a third of a pump for each face wash (do not need that much!), Wash gently with your hands (clean) and the hot water, then rinse with cold water (which feels particularly good first thing in the morning ). In AM I then apply this Olay eye cream that is really moisturizing and de-puffing, making sure to dab only lightly on around my eye area. Then I follow with my Holy Grail moisturizer / sunscreen. I do not care if it's dark and rainy outside, do not leave home without this sunscreen on. I'm on my third bottle of it and I think it made a difference in my dark spots. Especially in pregnancy, in which the change in hormones can lead to hyperpigmentation, it is even more important to use a good sunscreen religiously. I follow with my makeup routine (see below). In PM, I wash my face, pat on my eye cream (if they are still half asleep, but this step is skipped the most part), and apply a light moisturizer in the evening - this is my favorite (I am a sucker for products CeraVe, but really are fantastic and not irritating).
Makeup: my makeup routine is done by car. Yes, I am embarrassed to admit that I am that person. I promise I will do so only at traffic lights and drive safely! So, once safely at a stop light, I apply this mineral foundation. I used to be afraid of mineral makeup, but is it really so easy to apply and coverage is wonderfully building - in the days I need very little, I will apply to my problem areas (under my nose that can get red) and melt off, the days I need more I apply lightly all over the face and then blend with a brush. It literally takes the length of a traffic light. Then I apply my concealer under the eyes (another favorite, now I'm on my fourth tube, and are happy to say so many of you have tried it and sing his praise as well)! I just dab a little under my eyes and blend it down to my nose and towards the temples in a sort of triangle. Days that I feel like I need a little 'more I will use my blush, applying to outer two-thirds of my cheeks and the bridge of my nose. I find this gives a more "glowy" as opposed to an "I'm wearing blush" look. I use the shadow Beautiful bronze. Most days I honestly skip this, though, but it will certainly do it if we want to go out to dinner or something. My last step that I never skip is taking care of my eyebrows. I use this pencil eyebrow brush the eyelashes, slightly align the bottom and fill in any gaps, and then brush them and shape them with Brow Gel. I used to think brow gel was silly, but this stuff is the bomb. My eyebrows still looks fantastic for the time I wash my face at night. Another plus that is usually ignored is mascara, but I love this so much - a hand is perfect for the hospital and although it is not waterproof, do not smudge or run - to add a few more hands and have beautiful long lashes for a night.

And that's pretty much the! I hope this post could help to find some products work best for you, but remember that every face is different! What works best for one person may not work at all for someone else. And as always ask your dermatologist if you have skin problems that need issues (my posts are not meant to be medical advice, just a girl to share what works for you)!

Practical Shoes for the Hospital

I just got a really funny question from one of my amazing readers who are looking for recommendations of shoes for the hospital. Choice of shoes is of course up to you, but if you're a girl like me practice convenience conquer style most of the time. But you not always have to sacrifice style for comfort - here I am sharing my options more convenient for flats, boots, and sneakers! It clogs. Sockets are horrible and you can not deny that. But spend enough time in the hospital and you do not care!
Flats

Dr. Scholl's ($30 cheaper here)!  //  Sam Edelman  //  Tommy Hilfiger  //  Crocs

The apartments are the perfect choice for day clinic, and many brave women still wear them during rotations hospital too! It all depends on how long you can be on your feet and how much support you really need. All these apartments are carefully selected because they have the best reviews for the comfort (and still do not sacrifice much in the style)! The styles range from moccasins sexy pointy-toe, classic dancers, one of my favorite style apartments D'Orsay, and a more modest flat blade tip. Any of these would look great with a trouser skirt, dress, or dress.

Boots

Boots are like apartments for cooler temperatures. Nothing is easier than dressing up in cool weather, actually - literally throw on a pair of (or above the knee) knee boots with leggings and a tunic top enough, or with thick knit tights and a dress! Launches white coat and you're good to go! High above the knee boots are my favorite, this pair is a fraction of the cost! More traditional knee high boots sometimes look better with clothes (especially clothes that are a bit 'more), I love this simple pair elegant, but also I'm drooling over this couple with a little' of hardware! All these options are available in brown too much, it's my go-to shade!

Clogs

Klogs  //  Dansko  //  Crocs  //  Birkenstock

Sockets are the shoe hospital of choice for those who really are spending all day on their feet. Ask any nurse and she is wearing clogs or sneakers! I love my Dansko clogs now, but they did take a little 'getting used to. During most of the third year or rotations I actually wore my crocs and was really pleased with them as well (especially for their price). The only thing I do not like clogs is that they are not the easiest to perform. I probably should not have made much of the race, but in the ICU or in the nights I have to respond immediately to any code blue or quick response - running in clogs is not recommended! So I wore sneakers more now. What hooves they are wonderful because although it is to be in the operating room - believe me, you do not want to be in sneakers mesh and get the blood (or other body fluids) on shoes. Clogs are ideal for easily clean.

Sneakers

Pegasus  //  Zoom  //  Juvenate  //  Air Max

Trainers are one of the most fun for the shoes to match with hospital scrubs and I love how expressive we can be with them! And I'm a sucker for Nikes so I apologize, but all my choices are Nike. I am absolutely in love with this pair of floral Pegaso - my gray / coral Pegasus are my most comfortable pair of shoes and really put an extra bounce in my step! Zooms are amazing as well and I like all coral! Couples more muted as these sneakers olive and these tan / gold are perfect for the fans more modest sneaker!

I hope this post could give you all some idea of what types of shoes are more appropriate for different situations in the hospital / clinic and show that there are options convenient (and stylish) out there! As always, this post does not apply only to medicine, any of us who work in the feet are always on the hunt for a good shoe support!

Thinking about Medical Specialties

Time for another place for my followers doctor of med school! Fourth year current demand for residence will now know that it is October - Letters of Dean are out and (should) have been submitted, and now it's time to wait and get invitations interview! As I was applying for residency last year one of the questions that came up a bit 'was how I decided on a specialty. (I decided to dermatology, among other things, and I'm doing my preliminary year in medicine right now and I will start my part dermatology training in July - there are a lot of specialties that require a year "prelim" or transition as ophthalmology, radiology, anesthesia, etc.).
I'll spare you how I decided to dermatology specifically for another post, but today we will talk more about how to understand what might be right for you. I mean that before deciding on a specialty is a very personal choice and each will have a different answer as to why they chose their given specialties. The path to try to figure out what you like is long, and it really is best to wait at least until the third year to try to make up your mind on what you should actually apply truly. When I arrived at medical school I've thought about doing OB / GYN - I had worked at the clinic of women's health for poor women throughout undergrad and I really enjoyed it - but by the time I made my rotation OB / GYN third year ... well let's just say that my experience has changed my mind! There is obviously nothing wrong to know soon, just make sure you keep an open mind to everything you think you do not like, and to keep a critical eye when it comes to what you think you do not like. This makes sense? Of course, with that said, there are definitely things you can start doing in the years pre-clinical to help understand the wider parts of medicine that could be more fitting for you!
Some questions you can ask yourself during the first and second year - you prefer to store the anatomy and visualization of where things are in the body or working with the problems of physiology and think about how the organ systems? Like basic science or histology, or you do not want to approach the microscope again? Like radiological images and trying to find the disease in a movie?
If you really like anatomy, you prefer a more passive or active in exploring? If active, you might really like surgery - anatomy is at the forefront of surgery and you know every muscle, artery, nerve, etc. of any system in the body is that it focuses on! If you prefer a more passive role in exploring the anatomy, you might really like radiology - radiologists are other doctors who really know each ship and can manipulate the images in their minds to put together an anatomy of patients that is truly amazing .
If you like organ systems physiology and you can really enjoy medicine or intensive care, or even anesthesia (especially if you like pharmacology). In these fields, you are always thinking about feedback loops, electrolyte disturbances, etc. Do you really like the physical examination and the one that tells of a patient? Neurology takes very seriously the physical examination. Do you hate the physical examination and care more about what the patient is saying? Psychiatry could be more suitable for you. Like serious problems with quick fixes (MED emergency) or chronic problems with solutions longer (primary care). Children, women, elderly people? These are all things to keep in mind when thinking about what you might want to do.
At the end of the day, it comes down to the type of problems and how to solve the types of patients that you want to treat. One of the residents was working with gave me some advice I had not thought of before - "What is the most boring, bread and butter stuff that a document in that specialty ago What are guaranteed to make in their practice every? Day when there are interesting cases or rare? If you are happy to do this, you may have found your specialty. "It 'was obviously trying to convince me to go in the OB, since their" boring, every day "is providing the children. Pretty cool, but not for me. But the advice is something good to think for each field! If you're not sure what the basic things are in a camp, ask someone who practice in it!
Something that you should not make your decision based on? Money. For any of us who come from educations where money was very poor, the last thing you want to hear is someone who tells you that it is not all about money. I think what we really care though when it comes to money is stability. And whatever specialty you choose, as a doctor you will do enough to not have to worry if you afford the rent next month.
This early stage (ie in the preclinical years) the most important thing is to do well in classes and step 1 so as not to close the doors for you should want something more competitive. It mostly just keep an open mind! You will gain something from each of your clinical rotations, if you go in neurosurgery or pediatrics, so try to enjoy all of them! And listen to your heart - hear what makes you excited and happy again! I was on rotation "easy" where the hours were short, but what we did in those hours was so boring (to me) that the day literally dragged, and get out of bed every morning was tough! On the flip side, there were rotations where I have never seen the sun, but I liked what I was doing so much and had such great teams I liked to go to the hospital! Do not dismiss the feeling.
İşletmeler için Google ÇeviriÇevirmen Araç SetiWeb Sitesi ÇevirmeniGlobal Pazar Fırsatları Aracı

Another fun thing to do (that I still love doing only for the general medical knowledge) it is to explore the cases in Figure 1 app. This is a new application that is a bit 'like Instagram for healthcare providers. Users can share photos in an anonymous form of medical conditions - or a rash, a photo from surgery, an interesting EKG or blood smear - and get feedback on different treatment and! It is not always 100% correct (is random people commenting) but it's really fun to see only in a very different disease. Pay attention to cases that are attracted - maybe you're like me and love to see a rare rash, or you love all orthopedic cases, or presentations of rare infectious diseases from third world countries! Just check it out!

Once you get to the clinical years, to try and attendings ask what they like their work and how they set their practice (do mostly work in the hospital, a mix of clinical and hospital, private practice, or for more activities research and teaching, the different set-up will surprise you)! And 'obviously great to talk with residents who have chosen this area as well, but try not dragged from them if they happen to be a little' less optimistic. The formative years are some of the hardest and you have no control of what you actually do during the day, so sometimes residents are not always the happiest. Do not ever let me down! But on the flip side, if every resident is miserable, which is something that is hard to ignore (and probably should not)!

I hope some of my rambling can help you as you think about what kind of dishes you might want to practice. As always leave questions or suggestions for places in the comments !!

Preventing Stretch Marks

One of the questions that always pops up every time you post a picture of my bare bump is what you use for stretch marks. As a doctor and soon-to-be-dermatologist I can not tell you that there is a product that can prevent stretch marks - there just is not. And even if people do not like to hear that, for most stretch marks have a lot to do with genetics (so those women who do not have them are mostly just lucky). But there are some things you can still do to lessen the chances of getting stretch marks, which I will discuss today.

First a bit 'of science.
Stretch marks, or striae, they are literally small tears in the dermis - the middle layer of thick skin that has collagen and elastin (the one that gives our strength and elasticity of the skin). They are caused by rapid stretching of the skin - so they often occur in puberty, in bodybuilders, and during pregnancy. The fastest and most drastic the stretching of the skin (that is, the fastest increase in weight / size), the more likely they are to develop stretch marks. The genetic part comes with the collagen and elastin fibers - some people have a better "construction" of the skin that can better withstand stretching. And some people do not.

What makes them worse.
I said above that the more drastic the stretch, the more likely that stretch marks, and women who gain more weight during pregnancy (and do it more quickly) are more likely to develop stretch marks. Other than the speed of growth, there is also evidence that higher levels of cortisol (a stress hormone) lead to further stretch marks. People with endocrine disorders that lead to higher levels of cortisol almost always have stretch marks. Creams that contain cortisol are known to cause thinning of the skin and stretch marks when used longer than indicated. What else causes high levels of cortisol? Stress. Then, as if you needed another reason not to emphasize, remember the stretch marks. I do not think they did all field studies on it, but it would be safe to assume that women with high levels of stress (and therefore higher levels of cortisol) are more likely to develop stretch marks during pregnancy. The diet also plays a role here, not only in the sense of obtaining a good amount of weight during pregnancy, but also because some foods are known to cause big peaks of cortisol - mostly those that are rich in sugar or simple carbohydrates ( ie processed white bread, chips, etc.), and foods with trans fats. Try to stay away from these!

So two things-product can be done to help prevent stretch marks? Eating a healthy diet (including prenatal vitamins and a lot of water) and try to keep your stress level to a minimum (which is practically impossible in pregnancy, but we can at least try).

The products that can help.
As mentioned at the beginning, even though there are many companies who want to convince you otherwise, there is no product that prevent stretch marks. But there are many products on the market that can help soothe the least stretching / itching feeling most of us mamas get with the growing belly, and theoretically some ingredients that might help the collagen and elastic fibers in your skin. Some of these ingredients include fatty acids, vitamins A and E, rosehip oil, and more.

With my first pregnancy, I loved Mama Mio products - in particular their Tummy Rub Butter. This stuff smelled magic apply felt so good, and it made my stomach feel like heaven. It 'been a bit' heavier, but I was ok with that. What I ended up not being as good about was how fast I went through and how expensive it was. When I tried I bought as part of a sampler travel size (always a great way to try new products), and when I hooked I asked for a little 'for my baby shower, but I ruined with another large bath. The stuff works great, and if you have the budget we would recommend. It 'also free of parabens, petrolatum, synthetic fragrances and dyes, xenoestrogens, PEG, phthalates, glycol, but it is organic (if this is something that matters to you). Personally I'm not a big organic person, but many people are and there are a lot of new biological products on the market as well.

This pregnancy it wanted to try something new and beautiful ladies based in Boston in Bagno organic sent me their Stress Less Organic Body Butter. For those who want something organic whole, this butter might be for you. As for me, I really enjoyed it because of the smell, honestly I have not smelled a scent more relaxing if that makes any sense at all (is a lavender blue). The ingredients are filled with goodies skin-nourishment and it feels so good going! Liv rub this on my belly at night and we both love :) I must say, however, that was still a little 'to greasy for me and wearing it in the morning, even though I feel like I do not like feeling hydrated fat as I head in the world of the work. So, even if it is a use product still almost every night, the search continued for a good rub during the day belly.

What I use every single day after I leave the shower this is the body butter from Earth Mama Angel Baby. To begin with, as motivated as a person I am, I'm also lazy (or like to do things as efficiently as possible), so the characteristic pump bottle of this lotion is a huge seller - in the morning to be able to pump only two Sometimes by its place on the shelf and apply it is huge (as opposed to taking a bath, opening it, getting a scoop with your fingers, closing, putting away the tub - I know, I know I really am making myself sound lazy)! More importantly if this butter provides the right amount of moisture for daytime use - is very rich, but still somewhat light and fast-absorbing. It 'also all organic and has tons of good ingredients in it for stretching bellies. I would say that personally the only downside is the smell; it seems that many reviewers love it, but for me there is something a little 'too sweet on it which was a bit' daunting at first. Fortunately the smell is light and does not last long so it never bothered me enough to not have to be my daily moisturizer. And for you moms on a budget, the price is right on this. Many women also swear by this cream, but I have yet to try it out so you can not really give my two cents. But it's up there on the lists of other peoples!
How to apply.
Whatever cream you use, apply it to the growing areas of the body (for me the three B's - boobs, belly, butt) after post-shower towel drying slightly. The skin should be moist but not wet yet. Other things that can help include the use of a body scrub in the shower of light on these areas as well - there is no need to over exfoliate, but a light polish can help get the blood flowing too. Many women like when they should start using creams to their bellies, and honestly the sooner you start the better. Most of this stuff is just preparing the skin as possible to stretch (such as training for a marathon), so it's never too early to start taking care of your skin! I like to continue to use them after delivery, as well as the skin has a lot of contraction now has to do.

Fade stretch marks.
I'll save this topic for another post, but I just wanted to mention here that there are many treatment options for stretch marks fade, and for the most part, most of them are not safe to use during pregnancy. So while your growing child that only work on healthy eating, keeping stress levels as low as possible, and moisture like crazy. Save the fading creams and laser treatments for after though.

I hope this post might be useful to some of you mothers with the growing belly! And honestly just remember that stretch marks are purely cosmetic, and many women wear them with pride (as they should)! They are a reminder of the extraordinary feat accomplished your body!

Why Dermatology?

Hello everyone! Today, I came and finally address one of the most frequently asked questions I get - what made me choose dermatology! I already made a post about things to think about when a specialty examination (see here if you missed it), so that this position will be more of my personal experiences with Deciding on a specialty.

I got to thinking about dermatology for a time relatively "dark" of medical school - second year (I wrote about it here if you want to read more)! Seeing as disgruntled or overworked doctors what discouraging to say the least, but when we started our block of dermatology, I actually saw the doctors who looked happy with their lives! They shared interesting cases during case discussions, but could then talk about what they did with their children for the weekend, and I could not believe it! And then we had vitiligo African American patients (a depigmentation disorder) to speak to lose its blackness, losing part of its identity, and I fell in love with the idea of practicing dermatology and helping patients like her. How powerful. But then we had the opportunity to work in a clinic with a dermatologist, and I'll be honest, just not that interesting to me. So I kind of stopped thinking about the Afterthat dermatology.

I continued through the rest of the second and third year the most seek a specialty and off could not really find my call. But I had crossed you much wider of my list - I loved radiology, but I do not think I would be happy without making patients and providing treatment (interventional radiology gets that, but I really like that lol ) I liked the way, but for the same reasons as radiology could not see myself doing - I'm too much of a people person (Though in truth, I am a total introvert, I am even more happy and I feel more fulfilled when I directly help people - not that pathologists and radiologists do not contribute directly - they are usually what all other physicians base their decisions outside but I like sitting face to face with Patients - read more in the comments below about my background and experience of a practicing pathologist wonder if you are interested!). I loved medicine, but rounding the whole day on the hospital side gave me pretty much like jumping of a building and the outpatient side patients say repeatedly that they needed to lose weight just this not for me (and I'm obviously simplifies all waaay dieser - primary care physicians do so much, it felt like we were quietly saying the same thing to each patient)! I loved pediatrics but felt like hard days hurt too much, and the parents kind of drive you crazy (I am one now, and I'm sure I also drive crazy girls pediatrician - I do not know how they do it ). Most of all I fell madly for surgery. Loved surgery. OR I loved him, I loved using my hands, I liked almost everything. Except as hard as I tried I could not find a female mentor surgery so had children and a husband with equally demanding career. This last part is the most important, though: because there were women surgeons who had families, everyone I met had husbands careers much less demanding and more flexible, and theywere able to help many more. I knew that both N and I'd probably have an equally demanding career. And surgical residency is not a joke. Surgery seemed right, it took a lot more sacrifices than I am willing to do. But he shut the leading specialty until I had an elective of short dermatology That changed the game.

After clinics in other areas, Dermatology Clinic actually felt interesting the second time. And when I Hospital Dermatology (dermis consults inpatient) I fell in love - I was a bit spoiled at Harvard Because our hospitals see some of the rarest of the rare, but oh my god it was all so cool. I realized that the skin is really "in the indicator of systemic disease, a canary in a coal mine of sorts ... Especially skin is part of our human identity, and diseases there are no affects less dehumanizing, like so many of my patients have described to me. "Yes, I just quoted my personal statement lol!

Then I worked in clinical excision, where dermatologists excise melanoma and other skin cancers, and I was sold was just enough of procedural stuff I like -. Or be in the new environment as was so nice - I really like the OR. And then there was the other Derm Surgery and Lasers I am exposed to - there was just so much cool stuff! A big difference between the big traditional surgical and dermatological procedures / surgeries, however, is that patients usually are awake all the time (just under local anesthesia versus general anesthesia)! This does not bother me, but it may not be the right person to somepeople. Then there are the more practical aspects, such as more control of your schedule, a variety of practice environments, and colleagues happy! So I made my decision, asked around to find that the person I had to talk dermis, spoke to him, and he made contact with my research adviser Who was the greatest blessing of school medicine. This woman ran a large laboratory, given the clinic patients (and patients raved about it), and had daughters she called all day and went on mini girls vacation with (I love this idea and can not wait to do it with my girls! Sorry No!) I spent a year working in his laboratory between the third and fourth years to prepare for applications in dermatology (and therefore having Liv) and was the one of the best years of medical school! Anywho, which is about the most. Most people interested saisQu'il dermis is incredibly competitive, so I want to mention that I had a competitive Step 1 score and achieved great honors in most of my rotations (our preclinical classes not graduate and Harvard AOA has not, so I can not comment on these things). I'm as strong letters of recommendation (unless I'm told)!

I know so many of you want me to write on the classification and matching programs, and I can certainly comment on facts from a general point of view, if you think that would be helpful, but our situation was very unique and certainly not applicable to almost everyone else! For now I'm just sharing the facts, we will begin our advanced Both residences (N ophthalmology and me dermis) in Miami this coming July!

Cozy Clinic Look

Winter has finally arrived here in Boston, here's a quick one of the clinic is slowly warming keeps me in temperatures 7 degrees! Although still cold - broken only few (timer) photos and managed to cut my head in each of them lol !!

Fleece Lined Leggings are essential for the winters of New England (and mine is $ 20)! Long socks paired with boots add more heat (crazy to think my boots are now aged nearly 4 years - here was one of my first outfit withthem messages lol), as does a heavy knit sweater length tunic (with a long sleeve shirt underneath) and a comfortable length coat! When I get to the clinic I just swap the winter coat for my white coat and I'm ready to see patients!

Find all the details here exact outfit!

Lusting for Sneakers

Postpartum Fitness

Happy Friday! I have-so far all had a great weekend hope! Today fitness routine after posting about my birthday! Tomorrow, 7 weeks after birth and only return to my pre-pregnancy fitness routine in the gym (lots of weight lifting) will began this week. I just really low impact exercise goal at home was doing this before a couple qui I will share the first part of this series. Before entering, I want to address a couple of things.

When to start
Before pregnancy most women do not like hearing this, we aim to be the best time to start is the best exercise for the body after birth. If the major determinant of what it will look like post-baby? How did he look before the baby. So before you get pregnant, it is important to take shape. Live pictures of me before I after post-Live Sharing And I was down there I Fifty days ago! Est incredibly important to stay in shape during pregnancy. Pregnancy is not a trip to the gym during my second year on the work schedule and the trainee did not Join my "fitness routine" at home and have a baby - was more than made possible by the initiative of the session. I am going to live long walks and eat almost as I did before pregnancy Samir, my feet constantly in the hospital and taking the stairs (and confident when walking for exercise only spent time) has always been. I am going from one day before delivery of 110 150, 40 pounds this pregnancy (last pregnancy I gained a lot le même) won.

So with all the mentioned goal, you probably already read this Who will be after the birth! And that's ok! So when to start exercising? I picture above in the first 6 weeks, just what I said this goal easy and uncomplicated Given felt comfortable with vaginal delivery. Live and I had a complicated birth and I did not mind the exercise, but if you walk or postnatal week I felt like after a few sit comfortably! That delivery keep in mind - to make sure the doctor and ask for a cesarean birth or listen to your body, if you had a vaginal complex.

Breastfeeding and exercise
One of the biggest things I hear postpartum exercise, while a woman is breastfeeding we Could Have effect of producing milk. This is enough to supply 1) requires water, and 2) remember calories. So most definitely exercise can affect your resources. To avoid Prevention, make sure that you are active and you have enough calories That was not drinking white water sounds. I do not do any diet and I do not think that should be the diet if you are breastfeeding - You would lose plenty of calories through this alone! Also do not wear tight sports bras do not forget! Doctors breastfeeding / Their source is not recommended for women who want Reduction You know what? Sporting guns. Sporting guns and ice packs. They still are not really where my chest compression, so you can double my size normally has a larger goal in two sizes, to wear them. This is now going to the gym again this target is beyond what I'm talking about aussi this article to pump the safe before leaving.

Diastesis was Reka - divided gold abs
(Including myself) have divided many postpartum women abs. For women, this thesis of 'em actually may worsen as they do not it does not matter who cleaned traditional exercises like squats and shuttle position before. Some people will never do any exercise, so decide what needs to be done to keep in mind when I say not. My split finger was smaller width apart 2 I wanted to do something, so it's really focused on strengthening my core ounce. Yours is still greater than necessary to hold any closed following exercise (mine took to close with Live). This says a prenatal and postpartum Kinesiologist would be a great reader aussi "linea alba is still a big gap if you live along the width of two fingers Be careful with the front plate and quadruped in any business."

The most important thing you can do
The first and most important thing you can do is the most important? Remember to always engage the core. This does not mean that your wife sucking - I'm doing the right picture (and I can not breathe) what. This is when you need to be entirely reliable breathing normally Call - this means clustering abs and tighten your core by pulling. . "Exercises" You never know any other - it is almost always to remember to back up your muscles Will That Will Enhance Your voice will begin to tighten the stance aussi! So do it!

The excercises
Ok, now to the exercises. I don't really have a set schedule for when I workout, it almost always just depends on how much time I have and how busy I am at home, but thankfully Liv likes my exercise time and will even mimic me which is tons of fun. All of these exercise target my two most important areas - abs and glutes! Remember to engage your core during every one of these exercises. I included video links for each exercise that you should definitely watch to make sure you're doing them properly!

1 board (video) - This Ways to Raise your body to rest and keep in place and includes for some time. You can count on if you want to hear, but you can do something fun and music) are held to the choir!
2. Kicks Ass (Video) - This really want to push yourself to your feet under roof image hands and knees and legs to get lift ..
3. hydrants (video) - this (like a dog peeing on fire mouth lol) get on your hands and knees and that your side leg lift.
4. Commissions (video) - This is all on top of squeezing the glutes, includes a leg up and kick back.
20 I repeat that both sides prefer to do at least 3 sets of 2-3 years (meaning for example the right foot, then the left leg 20 times to 20 times (= game), kick and this time make 3).
As far as cardio, I really (because of reduced supply), but our double stroller was not always a lot of walking.
"Physical education" case
Bel-training new madness, and honestly, I'm not a big fan. Personally, I desire to have a tiny waist already placed women of all available thosethat just think that it is realistic to expect other. But, I was full once (or rather down several measures to natural waist like Barbie, to come back to where you say I understand the desire to get back - and if that course that he or she wants something wrong) or not. So I bought a corset so interested in trying it; Post-Live, I am back on my abs so I felt it was my pre-baby size widerth of silence. After I do my research because I received a points later, and this one, most of these latex educational or even just a money belt, and seems to have a way to go steel boned corset. And it was a really reasonable price. I still use a lot, and I (I just prefer to work) or not he know that actually work, but I will check how that use more!
